Volunteering…

A sincere and very big ‘thank you’ to all our volunteers who have helped us in the past and continue to support the Project in a variety of voluntary roles.

Since it began 25 years ago the Glossopdale Furniture Project has created seven full-time and three part-time jobs for local people. Over the years these key people have developed the skills and experience to make the Project the success it is today.

Our volunteers play a valuable role at the Project as well as benefit from being associated with this successful and respected organisation. It continues to help in developing interpersonal skills through working in and for the community and creating opportunities of going on to paid employment.

The work is both interesting and varied ranging from the shopfloor and warehouse work at our Pikes Lane outlet to assisting in one of our two workshops. There is also the opportunity to help with our fundraising activities at markets and promotional events across the High Peak.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help with our furniture preparation, warehouse duties, shopfloor services and fundraising so, if you feel you can help and are interested, please click here to complete our volunteer enquiry application form.

Thank you
